Danny Hozack was born, raised and lives at Streamstown, Alberta. He attended school in Marwayne, then attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire where he graduated in 1974. Married to Pat in 1976, they live, farm and have raised two boys and one girl in the Streamstown area. They are the proud grand-parents of eight.
Danny played an important role in the establishment of and currently serves as Chair of the Economic Education Association of Alberta, an organization fostering greater opportunity through education and constructive dialogue.
Danny is a long-time member of the Alberta Beef Producers, having served as Finance Chairman, Vice Chairman and Chairman. He has also served as an Alberta representative to the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association.
He has been active in many community, provincial and federal issues, including serving as the Co-Chair of the Wildrose and more recently the United Conservative Agricultural Task Force, where he was instrumental in developing the respective parties’ agricultural policies.
